I work as a lecturer HBO-ICT and a researcher at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS). As a teacher, my classes are mainly about HCI/HRI, UX design, data visualization and game design. I have been working as a creative developer, and gained broad experience in web and mobile game design and development. I contributed to the development of educational and serious games and museum installations. I aim to inspire and motivate students to create well designed products.
As a researcher I’m involved in research on educational robots, and social robots for healthcare & wellbeing. Since 2023, I’ve started PhD research, working with the Creative Intelligence Lab at Leiden University and the Digital Life Research Lab at the AUAS. During this 5-year (dual) research project, funded by the Dutch Research Council (NWO), I will investigate how social robotics and AI can enhance and support creative experiences for older adults, with a focus on visual arts.
